The Katie McNally Trio – The Boston States (2016) An exploration of the Cape Breton-Boston cultural connection. Katie and Neil both grew up with a close connection to the Cape Breton community in Boston and crafted this trio album with fellow bandmate Shauncey Ali on viola and producer Wendy MacIsaac. Alba’s Edge – Run to Fly (2015) Produced by BBC Folk Musician of the Year Aidan O’Rourke, this acclaimed album is the realization of Neil and his sister Lilly’s singular musical vision. Adrianna Ciccone – The Back of Winter (2015) (This album won Adrianna the Canadian Folk Music Awards Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year) Debut album for this fantastic Northern Ontario raised fiddler. Featuring traditional Canadian tunes and new compositions and produced by American Old-Time fiddling legend Bruce Molsky, this album won the 2015 Canadian Folk Music Awards in the category of Instrumental Solo Artist of the Year. Soulsha – Self Titled EP (2014)  Brand new Afro-Celtic Funk collaboration with Elias Alexander and Galen Fraser combining Scottish/Gaelic song, West African rhythms, Funk bass lines and New Orleans horn lines. Click here for more information.

A Thousand Years at Sea – The Stillness Here (2012)  The second full length release from Indie-Folk group A Thousand Years at Sea is a mix of epic instrumentals and pop/rock vocal stylings with heavy influences from Americana and Celtic music. Click here for more information. 

Neil Pearlman – Coffee and the Mojo Hat (2011)  Neil’s debut album as a bandleader. Coffee and the Mojo Hat is the beginning of the Scottish/Jazz sound that later grew into Alba’s Edge, but in a more piano-focused setting and featuring several special guests including the great Alasdair Fraser on one track. A Thousand Years at Sea – We Will Fall Apart (2011)  A four track EP of songs showing the further development of Colin Cotter and Ethan Lewis’ Indie-Folk project with songs that are slightly more produced and the addition of some percussion. Click here for more information.
